This seminar will be held by Marisol Manfredi, a PhD student in Sustainable Development and Climate Change at the University of Pisa, Italy, who is currently conducting a research stay at the Centro de Investigaciones para la Transformación (CENIT) at the School of Economics and Business (EEyN) of UNSAM in Argentina.
Her study explores how companies prioritize profitability over human and environmental well-being. Argentina’s strong dependence on agrochemicals and the associated concerns over health and environmental impacts make her research particularly relevant in this context.
